“Fishing started to become more than just an activity after that. It became my life.”

At twelve a local captain finally allowed me to be his first mate. I spent everyday off of school either out on the boat, fixing it, or planning future trips. At eighteen I received my USCG issued captains license.

I have captained the gulf and Atlantic waters from st. Pete to the keys, back up the east coast to Jupiter and as far southeast as the Exuma island chain in the Bahamas. I am most proud about turning my passion into my career. I am extremely blessed to get to do what I love everyday.

With over 10 years of experience, Captain Michael Wolner will ensure you have the best time on the water.

• USCG Master Captain

Growing up between Marco Island and Naples I was always surrounded by water. At a very young age I became very intrigued by fishing and boating. Some would say I was addicted. My grandfather entered me in my first fishing tournament at the Naples Fishing Pier when I was six where I placed first in the youth division.

Born and raised in Naples, Florida Capt. Tyler French was able to have opportunities unique to SW Florida. As a commercial fisherman, his father shared his love of the sport with him from a very young age. It quickly went from a fun time on the water with dad to an all-out obsession. Over the last 10 years, he has captained private and charter boats from Boca Grande to the Bahamas. Joining Marco Island Charters in 2020, Capt. Tyler’s greatest feeling is using his experience to put his clients on fish that create lifetime memories for them. Book a trip, and let’s go make some memories.

I look forward to meeting you!

“The thrill of the catch and the joy of sharing that experience with others has enriched my life beyond measure.”

Throughout my experience on the water, I have lived and seen some of mother nature’s greatest gifts. My obsession with fishing started in my childhood years growing up on the docks of Marco Island. It feels like a fever dream, from fishing all the docks I could on my bike to fishing 100+ miles offshore. I am surprised by what our adventures in the Gulf bring us daily. The adrenaline rush of hooking a fish or running 60+ mph racing against tournament teams to the fishing grounds adds to my passion for fishing. Like my brother Capt. Michael, my teenage years consisted of mating on charter boats until I was old enough to do it alone. Our relationship has fueled our success in the fishing industry, as we constantly motivate each other to go the extra mile. I look forward to sharing these blood-rushing experiences with people every day!

“Charter fishing has given me the opportunity to connect with nature, meet people from all walks of life, and share my passion for fishing with others.”
